DMT Fees

The following fees are valid from March 20, 2003

In the following tables, "currency" includes U.S. dollars (USD), British Pound Sterling (GBP), Japanese yen (JPY), European euros (EURO), Swiss francs (CHF), the DMT Rand (DRAN), spot gold (GOLD), e-gold (E-GOLD), the Gold Dinar (G-DINAR), and the Silver Dirham (S-DIRHAM) "Stocks" and "Warrants" refer to those corresponding equity assets admitted for trading within the system.

[Note: there are MINIMUM limits on the amount of currency that can be transferred into the DMT/ALTA system from the outside banking world. These minimums are as follows: USD 1000, EURO 1000, JPY 100,000, CHF 1000, and GBP 800. The TRANSFER-IN function of the DMT/ALTA system will not permit amounts less than these minimums.

[PAY and CLAIM transactions are not affected by minimum (or maximum) limits, and can be any size.

[TRANSFER-OUTs have the following MINIMUMS: USD 250, EURO 250, JPY 25,000, CHF 350, and GBP 200. TRANSFER-OUTs have the following MAXIMUMS FOR ANY ONE WEEK: USD 10,000, EURO 10,000, JPY 1,250,000, CHF 10,000, and GPB 8000.]

Fees for transferring assets out of the system:

(*) The bank wiring funds to your bank will deduct a wire transfer fee from the wired amount. Since wire fees are typically USD 25-30 for the originating bank, and USD 15 for the intermediate bank, rarely will it make economic sense to make transfers out of the system of less than USD 1,000 or the equivalent.

WARNING:

Bounced wires will be charged a DMT fee of USD 60 plus any relevant fees charged by DMT's bank. A wire will bounce for either of the following two reasons:

The Customer Reference Number is not included with a TRANSFER-IN wire. Please make sure your bank includes the Customer Reference Number when wiring funds! If the Customer Reference Number is missing, the wire may be returned (minus the DMT and bank fees). However, in most cases it is not possible, or not practical, to return wires. See DMT Problem Resolution for the procedure for dealing with missing wires or missing Customer Reference Numbers.

The wire instructions for a TRANSFER-OUT are incorrect. If the wire bounces, then DMT and bank fees will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be paid to the CLAIM NUMBER of the account the TRANSFER-OUT came from. The customer can then reclaim the amount using the CLAIM function of the DMT/ALTA system. (If the wire does not bounce, even though incorrect information was given, then someone has the money, and it will not be returned.)
